     Due to the quarter inch of rain this morning, we will be on the cart path today. Thank you.

Carts on Path

     The thunderstorms that moved through last night and this morning dumped almost three inches on the golf course.

     This means we will be on the path for the next couple of days.  Thank you for understanding.  

Golf Cart Accident

     Sunday was an eventful day here at Prairie Highlands.  We had a small accident with a golf cart.  Apparently the golfer parked his cart on the bridge but didn't straighten the wheels.  The next golfer jumped in and hit the gas.  Needless to say he wasn't quite ready for what happened next.

     Luckily everyone is alright.  The cart has seen better days, but should be fixable.  Hopefully everyone is careful out there when driving their carts.  Be safe.  

Off Path For Now

     We will be off the path for today.  There are more thunderstorms moving into the area this afternoon, so take advantage while you can.  Thank you.

Happy 4th of July

     If you haven't been to Prairie Highlands lately, this weekend looks like a great opportunity.  The greens our rolling 11 on the stimpmeter.  Come celebrate America with us, you won't regret it.

     Even though storms moved through the area last night, we will be off the path today.  Thank you

     Last night's thunderstorms brought almost another inch of rain to the course.  This means we will be on the path for Friday and probably Saturday.

Happy Fathers Day

     It's time to celebrate all the golf dads this weekend.  I know from experience that fathers who introduce their children to the game of golf will create a bond that goes much deeper than the golf course.  If you are a child of a golf dad, thank him.  Show him that the lessons you learned on the course helped make you who you are today.  

     I know I would like to thank all the golf dads out there.  Keep introducing the game to the next generation.  And have a happy Father's Day, from mine to yours.  

Path Only for Saturday

     By my calculations, we have been on the path more this year than any of my previous 3 years combined.  I must inform everyone that we will be on the path again today, and probably tomorrow.  Thank You.

Overnight Thunderstorms (Cart Path Only)

    I'm sure that everyone has noticed that we have been the recipient of some pretty good rain showers over the past few days.  Here at Prairie Highlands we got almost three inches in the past 72 hours.  It looks as though we will be cart path only for the next couple of days.  Thank you for your patience.
